The main purpose of the Vice Rector’s Office for Digital Transformation is to develop reliable technological platforms, as well as academic offerings in the School of Information Technology that are aligned with global trends, the needs of the labor market and the institutional objectives of the University.

FUNCTIONS

    • Planning the strategies of the Vice Rector’s Office for Digital Transformation in synergy with the vision and strategic plan of the University.
    • Evaluate the risks and threats inherent to the technological platforms available to the University, in order to establish a control and mitigation framework.
    • Define policies, procedures and standards for the use of technological resources, in order to control and mitigate the inherent risks, guaranteeing the standardization and best practices of the sector.
    • To manage the infrastructure, services and technological resources required by the University, ensuring their efficient use and maintenance.
    • Support in the coordination of the School of Technology and its different academic offerings so that they are updated to the needs of students and the demands of the market.

More than 17 years of experience in technology services management, auditing and consulting (including services related to technology risk management, information security and enterprise based on ISO 27000, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 31000, COSO ERM and ORCA). Specialized in the management of technological platforms, audits, diagnostic services and information security management (PenTest, Vulnerability Scanning), evaluation of business and technological processes, administration and management of systems, management of access control services, business continuity, among others. Master in Management and Productivity (MGP) – APEC University, Information Systems Engineering – O&M University, PECB – ISO 27001 Senior Lead Auditor, PECB – ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager, CompTIA – Security +, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, CISCO – CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) (2006), APC Energy & Security Solutions – Systems Engineer (2007).
