The Academic Vice-Rectory is the institutional body that manages and implements the strategic guidelines and policies on which the university’s curricula and academic projects are developed. The Academic Vice Rector’s Office offers higher education services at the Higher Technical, Undergraduate and Graduate levels in the various disciplines that make up the academic offerings.

FUNCIONES

    • Design, update and evaluate academic programs, ensuring their relevance and alignment with quality standards and labor market demands, and implementing a systematic process of self-evaluation and continuous improvement.
    • To foster the professional development of the teaching staff, promoting their training in innovative teaching-learning methodologies, educational technologies and disciplinary updating, as well as to supervise and evaluate their performance.
    • Innovate in teaching and educational technology, integrating technological tools and innovative methodologies for autonomous and collaborative learning.
    • Foster the integral well-being of students, promoting policies and programs that guarantee emotional, psychological and social support, contributing to the academic and personal success of students.
    • Manage the admission processes, supervising and optimizing the admission processes of new students, ensuring proper selection according to academic and inclusion criteria.
    • Manage the academic records processes, supervising the correct administration and updating of academic records, ensuring that they comply with institutional and legal requirements.
    • Promote access to the bibliographic and technological resources necessary for the development of the academic activities of students and teachers.
Mtra. Elisa Elena González G. Academic Vice-Rector

She is a public policy manager specialized in the educational field, with more than 20 years of experience in the sector. A psychologist by training, she holds a Master’s degree in Educational Guidance and Psychopedagogical Intervention, as well as specializations in Public and Social Policy Management and Development Project Management. She is also an expert in Educational Coaching for Educational Innovation and Excellence. She has played key roles in various public and private organizations, leading more than 14 impact projects, both nationally and internationally, aimed at strengthening the Educational System of the Dominican Republic.

His work has also included processes of social concertation and inter-institutional collaboration, aimed at strengthening the governance of the education system. She is an active member of the Dominican Association for the Welfare of the Family (PROFAMILIA), where she chairs the Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors. She also collaborates with the International Network of Women Leaders of the Americas, where she is part of the Think Tank for the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4 “Quality Education”.
