UNICARIBE STUDENTS STAND OUT WITH FIVE RECOGNITIONS AT CEICyT 2024

The University of the Caribbean (UNICARIBE) stood out at the IX Student Congress of Scientific and Technological Research (CEICyT 2024), receiving five awards: three in research work and two in the poster contest. This event, organized by the MESCyT, is one of the most important in the scientific field in the Dominican Republic.

UNICARIBE will represent the Dominican Republic at the COP16 of Biodiversity

The Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) and CAYEI-UNICARIBE will represent the Dominican Republic in the most relevant global event on biodiversity, COP16, from October 21 to November 1, 2024 in the city of Cali, Colombia. On this occasion, UNICARIBE will participate together with its strategic ally, Bauen Project, with whom it has established an alliance focused on the implementation of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), regenerative and community tourism, and the conservation of ecosystems in Latin America and the Caribbean.

THE CAYEI-UNICARIBE WILL ORGANIZE TOGETHER WITH THE POLITECNICO GRANCOLOMBIANO THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON WATER SHORTAGE AND ENERGY RESOURCES IN BOGOTÁ-COLOMBIA

The Center for Analysis and International Studies of the University of the Caribbean (CAYEI-UNICARIBE), in collaboration with the Universidad Colombiana Politécnico Grancolombiano (POLI) and the GISCARIBE Research Group, will organize the First International Congress on Water Scarcity and Energy Resources, the November 15 and 16, 2024 in the city of Bogotá, Colombia on the POLI campus.

Golden Ceremony: UNICARIBE celebrated its 50th Graduation

Santo Domingo, December 9, 2023 – Some 542 students received their professional degrees at the recent graduation ceremony of the University of the Caribbean (UNICARIBE), the institution’s 50th, a historic event that symbolizes the institution’s leadership in research, innovation and inclusive academic training, both locally and internationally.
