Environmental Engineer graduated from Universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia and Master in Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He also holds a diploma in Virtual Teaching from Blackboard Academy. Throughout his outstanding professional career, he has made significant achievements in the field of research, publishing articles in high impact journals and book chapters. His research focuses on topics such as new materials for solar cell fabrication, solar photovoltaics, applications of environmental electrochemistry and innovative teaching methods. In addition, Prof. Peña has expertise in process automation and programming, supported by four software registrations protected as intellectual property. His solid academic background and commitment to research and innovation make him an outstanding professional in his field.
