2. What is the enrollment process for the Education degree program?
First, you must fill out a form at Admissions. The university will call you once the date of the POMA test has been set. After passing the test, you will be invited to take the College Board exam. Once you have passed both tests, you can begin the enrollment process for the Education program.
3. What happens if I fail the tests?
If you fail any of them, you must take remedial courses in order to retake them.

5. After registering, when would I start?
The first day of the month following your registration.
6. How many subjects can I select?
You can select the entire first semester, from 4 to 5 subjects, depending on the degree program and the period.
7. How can I pay the monthly fee for my studies?
You can pay at the cashier's desk or by credit card over the phone by calling 809-616-1616 extensions 248 / 376 / 238.
8. When are the payment dates?
Until the 7th of each month.
9. How much is the late payment fee?
20% of the cost of the course.
10. How do I validate courses?
To validate subjects, you must request this at the time of admission. Then, submit the course syllabi for the courses you wish to validate (stamped by the department that issued the syllabus and the institution from which it originates). Depending on the number of courses passed, you will be required to pay a fee per course (passed). Current cost: free for UNICARIBE graduates; RD$150 for students from other universities.
IMPORTANT:
• Only subjects that have been passed within the last 5 years are applicable.
• All validation processes must be completed within the first semester in which the student was admitted.
11. What do I need to re-enroll?
a) Pay off any debts, if you have any.
b) Have all documents submitted.
c) Pay the re-enrollment fee.
12. What is the difference between re-entry and re-enrollment?
• Re-enrollment: applies to students who are moving from one semester to the next.
• Re-entry: this is the process undertaken by students who have been absent for a year or more.
13. When is the deadline for graduation payments?

14. Where can I view the curriculum for each degree program?
• On the website www.unicaribe.edu.do, under “Academic Offerings,” select the degree program you are interested in and you will find the curriculum below.
• In the CONECTA UNICARIBE mobile app.
• In the information area, which is located just inside the entrance to the university.
15. How do I use the new Blackboard platform?
a) Once admitted and with the subjects selected, the student acquires a username and password to access the system.
b) Go to www.unicaribe.edu.do and under Students, select Blackboard.
c) You will be asked for your username and password. We recommend changing your password.
d) Once on Blackboard, students can view their enrolled courses and all the details about them. For assistance with using Blackboard, you can call, write, or visit the Digital Room at 809-616-1616 Ext. 100, or you can send an email to soporte@unicaribe.edu.do.

17. What is the difference between Blackboard and CONECTA?
• Blackboard: an online learning platform that supports distance learning.
